Payments

A strong payments program is represented by the digital payments in both receivables and payables. We work directly with the ISO’s and banks to ensure that our clients are properly utilizing their payments platform.

There are two separate parts of a well-optimized payments program, acquiring and issuing.

Acquiring - The merchant account allowing a dealership to accept credit cards, debit cards, and ACH payments

Issuing - The ability to pay vendors with virtual cards, creating more secure transactions but also, generating a cash rebate (the typical cash rebate for a store with $1M/month in payables is $15,000 in cash). That is returned to the dealership in a monthly cash payment. If you aren’t receiving this, then contact us.

It’s important to pay attention to your merchant account. A dealership should regularly audit their program to ensure that they are paying the same rates and fees as outlined in the schedule A of their original agreement. They should be aware of their chargeback levels and ancillary fees. And, they should take advantage of the online tools, reporting, and analytical information that is available (from most providers).
